Shampoo & Conditioner

I switched to bar shampoo and conditioner in early 2020.  I was concerned that it wasn’t going to give me enough moisture for my curly hair in our dry environment.  What I discovered was, that apart from saving the environment from all those big plastic bottles, I also saved money and waste on all the other product I used to use to try and tame the curls.  The conditioner bar was light enough that I started just leaving it in and my curls have never been so good.  My hair is also longer than I have ever had before.   I used HiBar after being enticed from an ad on social media.  I received it back in June 2020 and am just looking at replacing it now (March 2021).  I wash my hair maybe 2-3 times a week depending on how much exercise I have had and I add a little conditioner most days to help control the frizz.  I’ve decided to try the Ethique shampoo and conditioner this time, just to see how it goes, because I really like their other products.

Lindsey put together this list of price and company comparisons for shampoos and conditioners.  I’ll report back on how the Ethique options go when they get here.
